Joseph Hurt (b. 1998) is an independent filmmaker based in Kentucky. Drawn to faces, characters, and the connections that tie us all, he’s fascinated by people who are so enormously true that they can’t help but be anything but themselves.

This lifelong attraction most likely originates from his time as a young boy when he was paid to push Larry Flynt around in a wheelchair every day after school. Ask him about this!
